Anyway, today's first course will be about Xyz summon, well, I assume you've already read the rulebook and therefor that you already know how to put a card on top of a card that is put on another card. Else, I can't do anything for you. But knowing how to overlay monsters isn't good enough if you can't apply that. So we'll study today about a basic non-competitive deck you can use to master this way of summoning and we'll proceed to look at some general combos that can be useful in any deck.
So let's start, here's the deck :

- 3x Alexandrite Dragon
Well, it's a really good attacking lvl4 monster and you'll see later that we need him to activate certain effects. - 3x Gene Warped Warwolf
This is basically a copy of Alexandrite Dragon.We'll use it the same. - 3x Goblindbergh
Goblindbergh effects practically allows you to xyz summon. All your monster are lvl 4 so you're 100% sure that if it's effects work, you'll xyz. - 1x Rescue Rabbit
Rescue Rabbit will allow you to summon two copy of "Alexandrite Dragon" or two of "Gene Warped Warwolf". You guessed it, free Xyz. Note that it may be more interesting to first attack with the two summoned monsters and then, during your Main Phase 2, to Xyz summon. - 3x Sacred Crane
Your deck is full of ways to special summon monsters, so it will be easy to use it's effect. Always remember the golden rule :
In YuGiOh, drawing is the most important thing. - 3x Star Drawing
Star Drawing is basically used like Sacred Crane here. - 2x Summoner Monk
Summoner Monk will summon a lvl 4 monster from your deck, (basically "Star Drawing" or "Sacred Crane"). So it's a xyz at the cost of a spell card. And you'll theorically draw a card after that. So totally Worth it. Note that this is a card you can play in a lot of deck and that it is super-useful in a lot of situations. - 3x Terratiger the Empowerer Warrior
Free Xyz if you have an "Alexandrite Dragon" or a "Gene Warped Warwolf" in hand. Note that it may be more intersting to first use your monster to attack, then to xyz in the Main Phase 2.

Same utility as "Goblindbergh"
Magics (9) : - 2x Crashbug Road
Be careful using this card, it may helps your opponent. However, it can really be useful if you only have monsters that can't special summon other monsters in hand. It also allows you to use "Sacred Crane"'s effect. - 2x Double Summon
Same as crashbug road except that this card is "safer" because it does not help the enemy. This said, it does not activate the effect of "Sacred Crane". - 2x Instant Fusion
This is a great card that you shall put in whatever deck you want to. In our case, you can use it for two possible combos : - You can summon Norden who summon a monster from your grave, so Youhou, free xyz !
- You can summon "The Thousand-Eyes Restrict" which allows you to get rid of an annoying monster without even destroying it. It can be useful against monsters like "Beelze" or to get rid of Game Changing pendulums like "Joker"
- 1x Rank-UP-Magic - The Seventh One
When you draw it, you can summon for free "Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon" and use it as a xyz material for "Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon". If you draw it during your first turn, well, you're unlucky, but you still can use it as a cost for Summoner Monk since it's a dead draw anyway.
- 1x Swing of Memories
Recycle "Alexandrite Dragon" or "Gene Warped Warwolf" so you can use them as xyz-materials with another monster. - 1x Upstart Goblin
You draw a card. That's amazing ! Remember the golden rule.
Note : if you someday run a deck which isn't in a 40 card format, don't use it, it's dumb. (While we're at it, remind me of making a Râ Course or Obelisk course about the card formats.)
Traps (7) - 2x Fiendish Chain
You can negate annoying effects and you can stop a monster from hurting. This is pure gold. - 2x Xyz Reflect
This card protects your xyzs. And yes, it inflicts 800LP. You have to know that in YGO a lot of cards that can be put in a lot of decks inflict 800LP. I for one call it the "Ookazi barre " (french that can be meaningfully translated by Ookazi stage). Always try to let your life points over the 800 because of that. - 3x Xyz Veil
This card will protect your xyzs as if they were gifted by Horakhty herself ! This is also pure gold.
Extra Deck (2 fusions | 13 xyzs) - 1x Elder Entity Norden
We already talked about it at "Instant fusion". - 1x Thousand-Eyes Restrict
We already talked about it at "Instant fusion". - 2x Castel the Sky Blasting Musketeer
He's here to do the same job as Thousand-Eyes Restrict. - 1x Daigusto Emerald
He's here to recycle your cards and to give you a free draw. You may also find his second effect useful since it allows you to summon a "Alexandrite Dragon" or a "Gene-Warped Warwolf" that you can use to attack or to xyz. This card is useful in close-to-all the yugioh strategies. - 1x Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon
This card is f*****g badass. And it can help you to OTK (One Turn Kill) or to get rid of a monster with really high statistics that you can not challenge. - 1x Gagaga Cowboy
Here to assure you can finish someone below the "Ookazi Barre". His first effect can help you getting rid of an above-average statistic monster. - 1x Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon
We talked about it at "Rank-UP-Magic - The Seventh One". - 2x Number 39: Utopia
This card can help you in many decks. It can help you temporizing a lot and have pretty decent statistics. Be careful, there is a rule in yugioh called Replay Effect that makes your opponent allowed to attack any other monster on your field or directly if your Utopia destroys itself because of it's effect. (You can prevent it, look at "Number C39: Utopia Ray" below. - 2x Number 82: Heartlandraco
This is one of my favorite numbers if not my favorite.

-But sir, I need time to improve and learn how to use your magnificent deck !

So as I said, Heartlandraco is awesome. It can cut through your enemy's frontline ! Too bad you can't fully appreciate his effect in this deck. Anyroad, I like it so much you'll have a little extra at the end of the lesson about him. - 1x Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon
Pretty cool, we talked a little about him in "Rank-UP-Magic - The Seventh One". Read it's effect by yourself, I won't spoil it for you. - 2x Number C39: Utopia Ray
It's mainly here so you can avoid the negative effect of Utopia by summoning Utopia Ray on the top of it when it has no xyz material, but his effect, which, by the way, can be used more than once per turn, is like a Giga-Gagaga-Cowboy (the atk mode eff). It's literally made for Hope-less situation. *the solid vision displays a : 'badum tss'-sound *
Arcanite Mihdi looks at Stevenson who seems to have a desperate urge to talk. Too bad, he's a coward, it would be fun otherwise.
Side Deck
The Neo-Spacian Grand Mole is just Over-powered, it will help you a lot against boring unkillable monsters or card needing to stay on field to maintain or improve their power. It is also useful against equipment-based decks. Too bad it's a lvl 3 monster, otherwise it would be in the main deck.
Crashbug Road and Swing of Memories are here to make xyz summons even easier if needed.
Galaxy Cyclone , MST (Mystical Space Typhoon) and Xyz Reflect are here in case of boring Spells or Traps, specially that this is a very offensive rusher-typed deck.
Raigeki to be able to clean-wave (get rid of many monsters at once). It's useful in a lot of decks.
Breakthrought Skill and Fiendish Chain are here to protect you from monsters effect and slow down potential effect-based decks. (and Gosh, there's so much of them).
Imperial Iron Wall If your opponent plays Kozmo, just put it in 3 times. You won't stand a chance if you don't.
Number F0: Utopic Future is here to twist impossible situations in your favor

Note that instant fusion does cost life points, but trust me, you care not about your life points as long as you stay over 800LP.- 3x Alexandrite Dragon
